Vatican Private Tour (Guide in English)

The Vatican Museums offers a unique collection of masterpieces. This tour itinerary is focused on the most important areas of the museum, beginning with the Pigna Courtyard and the Ottagono Courtyard.

From here the route takes us to the gallery of the candelabras and to the tapestry gallery, then the geographical maps gallery. Then we visit one of the most important examples of renaissance art, the rooms that Raffaello painted for Julius II. From the apartments of Julius II, visitors pass to those of Pope Alexander VI Borgia, whose rooms still house the rich collection of contemporary art.

Finally we arrive to the Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo's masterpiece seen in the decoration of the ceiling and on the extraordinary depiction of the Last Judgement.
